About

Hi, I’m Tabitha Nicholas. I am a Wife, Mother of 2, and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Having lived in southwest Louisiana my entire life, I feel that I know good food. I also know the ailments that can come along with eating a traditional southern “fried” diet. Can we say high blood pressure diabetes, obesity, etc? Louisiana ranks as one of the worst states as it relates to health outcomes.

Not wanting to fall prey to the chronic diseases that often accompany unhealthy eating and lifestyle choices lead me to complete my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Health and Human Performance (Nutrition & Wellness) from McNeese State University. My passion is making healthier eating and living practical and sustainable.

I’ve been an RDN since 2007, and recently started my private practice. Chronic disease can often be prevented by improving what you eat. Good health can often be maintained by a healthy diet and lifestyle. Just as you see your other healthcare professionals for yearly physicals, eye exams, dental check-ups, you should also visit a dietitian. Dietitians are a vital part of healthcare teams that you shouldn’t miss out on.

My goal is to share evidenced-based reliable nutrition information, good food, wellness, and lifestyle tips while raising 2 busy little boys.
